Only logically …
Only logically possibility of how it can fly up side down without reversing the engine is switching the blades. especially when referring to how fast it can switch and not damaging any spurs (gears)

idle up (3D mode) …
idle up (3D mode) settings curve

100% motor negative pitch (joystick at bottom)
50% motor pitch 0° (joystick in middle position)
100% motor positive pitch (joystick at top)

normal curve is
0% motor at bottom 0° pitch
50% motor at mittle 3° pitch or whatever
100% motor at top 6° pitch or whatever

that is basically how it works

Very nice video, almost brings a tear to my eyes ;).

I'm at the stage of learning nose in, but can do very fast foward/side flight.

Hating the gyro though :(.

Running Spektrum DX7/AR7000, it's great for the heli!
