Thats right! I used to use a 7 channel reed/relay transmitter with rubber band/clockwork escapements in the model, all functions controlled by on/off switches, (no digital proportional then). Its like using 7 single channel radios at the same time. I think the Japanese guy shown here was using a multi reed unit.Showing my age now!
