Thanks! You will …
Thanks! You will want a failsafe btw and then to kill the radio next time. That will stop it. Then, if it is still going, clog the pipe with your shoe or pinch the fuel line.

No way to know other than to run it. You can open the case up to see if it is severely charred or not. But, if you dont know how hot it got, i would just continue on knowing that it got hot and hope that it did not ruin the compression.

so last weekend i was almost through the 2nd tank on a fresh motor(trx.15)and the throttle cable broke/fell off with the carb wide open. a good 45sec. the motor i was breaking in was screaming bloody murder, by the time i got the gas cut off there was boiln nitro coming out of the carb and the motor was hot dont know how hot, but im curious before i continue the break in process if there is a way to look and see or tell if i damaged anything. besides the 72t flywheel..toasted. great vids :)

Depends on the …
Depends on the capacity of the battery cell that you use and the amperage of the charger. I would let it sit for several hours at least

hotshotMarine @ 12:02 pm

whats the least …
whats the least amount of time to let the glow stick charge?

Squirrelod @ 12:02 pm

Yes, and to run it
Yes, and to run it

do u always need a …
do u always need a glow plug to start a engine?

What does the JP3 …
What does the JP3 have to do with the JP1 that you originally pointed out?

Again… engine specific and you always want to try multiple pipes for the best match to your specific engine.

I cannot give specifics on generalities.

mrdragoman222 @ 12:02 pm

because basically i …
because basically i heard the the jp 3 lags abit in the middle and the jp2 dont, so it has a smoother power band?

hi, i have a JP 2 …
hi, i have a JP 2 for my picco 21, is this a good combination?

Squirrelod @ 12:02 pm

It really depends …
It really depends on the engine, its engine case, the sleeve, etc. You want the echo wave to be perfect to cover the upward momentum of the piston going up. If you miss it then the engine will perform worse. Also, some engines might feel torquier off of it while others do not and that is fine as most of this is a generality. Other than a pipe tuned especially for your engine then it is always best, as stated in the vid, to try around. But generally, the JP1 is for a short track/ more torque pipe

mrdragoman222 @ 12:02 pm

hey, apprantly they …
hey, apprantly they found the jp2 had more torque than the jp1 lol, in some tests they did.

Squirrelod @ 12:02 pm

Its actually a JP3. …
Its actually a JP3. Wait till my break in series (10 vids and topics) gets posted. i revisit this topic and actually start the engine to show that it works.

The JP pipes you want to match to the engine. I would add a JP3, which adds to the top end, is better balanced with an engine that has a ton of low end. Its best to try a variety as each pipe will act differently to the echo wave for the engine

jimgotnitro @ 12:02 pm

yes all your videos …
yes all your videos are just quality…it really gets nailed into my head lol. I see you have the jammin JP-4 pipe…how good is this? does it give you a smoother powerband? higher rpm, bottem end torque?

Squirrelod @ 12:02 pm

Thanks!

Right …
Thanks!

Right now I am getting alot of rain in WA but the next clear day I will be filming and then postinga 4 to 6 vid series on break in from prep, priming, break in, and tuning. Stay tuned!
