How to break in a Nitro RC engine Part 1
This video is on how to select fuel and glow plugs prior to break in. Information that this contains his how to troubleshoot and break in the kit based off of the glow plug, how much oil is good in fuel, and what nitro percent is good for the fuel.
This is a ten video rc nitro break in series. The series is designed on how to guide the novice to experienced racing pro or basher on how to break in a nitro rc properly. I will teach the traxxas, new school, and my own method which is a combination of the other two. I will show the user how to prime a nitro rc engine, start the engine using a bump start box, ex starter, roto start, pull start and tiger drive devices. Then, after break in, I will go over nitro engine tuning theory and then show the tuning actally done. This engine tuning series is good for the AE associated electronics Gt GT2 MGT mini MGT hpi savage x ss, traxxas revo tmaxx t maxx s ofna hyper st pro 7 8 9 8. buggy truggy jammin crt crt.5 mini hyper losi lst lst2 lst1 muggy 8ight 8ight-t truggy monster truck mt byt chris mt kyosho 777 sp2 worlds mugen mbx lx comp pro and many more! os engines trx picco sts axial .12 .15 .18 3.3 2.5 .20 .21 .23. 25. 27 .28 .30 .32 collari lrp spec 3 DM

wow! youre pro! thanks
Sure!
BL setup- …
Sure!
BL setup- increase the KV of the motor. Brushed- get a lower "t" turns on the comm.
Get better batteries with more capacity. More volts per pack means more speed as well.
Pinions with more teeth and spur gears with less teeth.
Larger tire size. Reduce kit weight.
Keep in mind that the above will reduce run times, increase heat, and could cause cogging (minus reduction in weight). So, upgrade slowly, purposefully, and wisely. Upgrade a little, test a little, upgrade a little more. =)
do you know how to …
do you know how to increase the speed for electric rc?
No problem and glad …

I love forward to …
I love forward to breaking so that I can replace with better! There is no better excuse than something broken. At that point, you have to get something to get it going again….right?
What is F'd up is the old meaning of RC is gone. New forums have taken the spot of what used to be a great feeling and community. now it is making an old admin feel good in a hobby versus the will of the hobby and good of all. It has gotten corrupt. It needs to go back to the individual and group feeling.

I like the LRP spec .28s, sts engines, and the picco .28s. But, it is all a matter of opinion. I would run what you have and have fun

It really depends. …
It really depends. The bearing might wear out, you might have to replace the piston and sleeve, etc. You have an engine that has combustions going on left and right, the wear from that alone will take its toll. Also, as the piston wears on the sleeve, it will not be as tight after awhile. Some engines wear better than others and others get destroyed but lean conditions and user inexperience. Personally, I would just get another 150 to $200 engine over a rebuild.
ok, after 10 …
ok, after 10 gallons what happens?
No worries here! It …
No worries here! It was just all I had handy. Good to see a good laugh out of it though =)
