Great looking plane …
Great looking plane and great flying too. I busted mine pretty bad and tried modifying with xmods, but xmods just didn't seem to have the torque…runs very hot. I gave up and overhauled the entire plane. I ended up putting in 1 brushless motor and new wings, rudder+elevator with all new electronics…cost about $50 for mods from unitedhobbies. does like 50+ mph now and takes off in about 1 sec. see my favorites

Nice! I bought one of these a few weeks ago and I've been looking around to see if anyone has done this, I guess so! They are great in stock configuration but awefully clumsy if I may say so, I'd love to have mine handle like yours…By the way, how'd your buddy make out with the orangeish one he built?
