I know almost …
I know almost nothing about the construction because the boat was built by and belongs to a friend.
It was built entirely by that person but probably he followed some model taken from an old magazine. Then again, he has the skill to design from scratch…
I know that he has built at least one more copy of this engine and he also has a v shape two cylinder engine.

Looks excellent.

Looks excellent.
- Do you have any information on the engine, if it was scratch built for the boat as a one off, or based on a production model engine?
- Also i presume if the plant was set up to condense it has some form of boiler feedpump, is that self regulating somehow?

We have a full size (58*7ft) steam narrowboat and i have always considered making a scale model of it with working/simplified steam plant.

Yes. It uses " …
Yes. It uses "camping gas" to heat the boiler and it also includes two steam condensers that are not being used because the steam gets mixed with the oil in the engine and, according to the person who built it, that is not good for the boiler.
Just in case you are wondering, the boat is not mine. It belongs to a friend who is crazy about RC model boats and planes. He is also building a submarine.
