The Ask Squirrel vid series is me answering the numerous user emails and messages that I get. This can be on numerous systems from nitro to electric, personal questions, etc. I decided to do this to be more personable and in a way to reach out with the audience as much as possible as we are all one in the hobby.
This vid is a user request on how to align his truck's engine. When he started the engine his truck would take off. He was not sure if it was the throttle servo horn or if it was the idle screw. I had him test the brakes out to see if the brakes were closing the 1 to 2mm gap all the way and to ensure that it was stopping at the correct gap. It was.

This is a ten video rc nitro break in series. The series is designed on how to guide the novice to experienced racing pro or basher on how to break in a nitro rc properly. I will teach the traxxas, new school, and my own method which is a combination of the other two. I will show the user how to prime a nitro rc engine, start the engine using a bump start box, ex starter, roto start, pull start and tiger drive devices. Then, after break in, I will go over nitro engine tuning theory and then show the tuning actally done. Not when I am …
Not when I am driving it, it has started doing this on it's own. I think I need an exorcism. I have gone through the re-programing of my esc twice, didn't help for long. I have not had any excessive heat or anything. One of the wires on the original esc came out and I replaced it, that was 3 weeks ago, no problems till now. I don't drive it that hard, sometimes from rev to forward for a wheelie or two.

Hey Squirrel, another helpful vid! Thx. I have a question about my E-Maxx, I know you are not a big fan of these but I enjoy it for a beginner. I am running stock everything, motors (550 titans), EVX-2 sc, & 8.4v venom 7c batts. It runs fine but gets really jerky alot, like I am going from forward to rev over & over as fast as my finger can go on the trigger and sometimes wide open. All batteries in the truck & transmitter are fresh. What in the heck could it be? Please help
Check your slipper …
Check your slipper nut. It is more than likely loose. If it isnt, something is not putting resistance on the engine and that is what is happening but it is in that area.
