thanks for advice mate. we thought so but till now we never had any problems of dirt kickin in the engine. when we had minor crashes and saw the dirt in carb, we simply gave the engine a whole washing up with nitro all was ok

This may not be possible but maybe you can buy a filter from an RC car and mount it so it is pointing to the side.

We know that mate. Thanks for info anyway. I have had bad landings where lot's of dirt went in the carb. We simply washed the engine with Nitro plane and engine are perfect till now
