Models are … Models are difficult. I started flying R/C when I was 10 and flew them until I was 16 which was 10 years ago. I had a midwest 27% extra 300 with a Moki 1.8 and it would torque roll all day. Now that I am an Atp and type rated in a C-550 jet with 3,500 hours, I can say that it is easier to fly a R/C anything than a full scale airplane. It is a different skill to fly r/c. I think there is too much torque rolling these days, it is easier to torque roll than fly the other aerobatics.
Flying the models … Flying the models are harder than flying the real ones. Sorry but that's the truth. I've done both, and still fly the models. I still like a good (real) fly though.
Go do it and see … Go do it and see how hard it is. Takes alot of practice. Not to mention that these planes cost anywhere from 5-10 grand. Confidence and skill.
