How RC Helis Fly + Flight Tips.
Due to tremendous amount of questions for more in depth explanations, I remade the video and tried to explain how they fly and how you should control them to make them fly. Since so few people can master moving 7 controls at once in precise coordination to fly a Collective pitch helicopter, I have added more text. If you have to pause it to read the text, please do so. I want you to succeed. Watch it again before you go out to try that new machine and if you would like my 9 Helicopter Tips for Better Success at learning, please request them and I will PM them to you.
Good luck and happy flying.

Usually not. 3d stunt flying requires adjusting pitch from +9 degrees to -9 degrees and infinitely variable during all the flying, so once the tracking is set(at Eyelevel hover speed) it will remain in adjustment.

i have a ? for you. If you set your pitch up do you still have to track your blades? wont this effect you pitch set up? Thanks!
Thanks very much.
Thanks very much.

If blades arent …
If blades arent tracking, vibration can begin. Also blades should be snug, not too loose. A slight bend in the Main rotor shaft causes vibration too. Blades don't go out of balance very far,so I use a small piece of black electrical tape on the blade. Put it on one, and if vibration gets worse put it on the other. It takes some more tinkering.
thank you for …
thank you for responding. ok i fixed the problem seems the servo dip switch was reversed on my transmitter. the only problem i have now is massive vibration on the head.
the blades are loose enough once it spins up it gets worse is there a way to get rid of this? ive noticed from some posts that it could be the head or blades out of ballance i dont know how to balance them so im at a loss.
the other problem went away with alittle tinkering
Do you have enough …
Do you have enough pitch.? Are the blades spinning the right way. I need more information to help. Make a movie if you can.
Good Luck.

6 channel helis …
6 channel helis have more control, but are just as hard to fly as a 4 channel. Study my 9 heli flying tips.
would a 6ch heli be …
would a 6ch heli be much harder to fly than 4ch single rotor?
If you go with any …
If you go with any tail rotored heli, 4 or 6 channel, you will find it extremely more sensitive, as it is windm from the tailrotor that moves it. The tail then can be moved very fast or very slow. But with Coaxial helis, they only yaw by slowing one rotor down at a time using torque to yaw it. They are very easy to fly in comparison. Thanks for the comments.
Hey, nice video. I …
Hey, nice video. I just bought a lama v3 and i learned on it pretty quick. i have no problem with nose in hover or flight. Just wondering do you think moving to a 6ch single rotor heli is to much of a jump from a lama. Or should i go with a 4 ch single rotor heli.
Thanks kindly. Look …
Thanks kindly. Look over you shoulder if you have to and keep the Tx antenna pointing in the direction your plane or heli is flying. It makes it easy and eventually you wont have to. The CP2 would make a good choice next. The blades wont smash into each other, anyway. Tips away in a PM.
Great videos, …
Great videos, Nightflyyer. Along with some 3-ch's, I've been flying my E-sky Lama V3 & V4 for about 3 months and am pleased with how it's going. Only thing I still need to work on is hovering with the heli facing me, and think in reverse fast enough. About the only time I crash is when I push it…Try to maneuver too quickly and the blades clash and down she comes! So, what's my next step? would the ESKY Honey Bee CP2 make sense for me? Also, please PM your 9 heli flying tips? Thx!
Thanks. Nope, you …
Thanks. Nope, you have to compensate with your TX controls with all helis, if you have trimmed it for eyelevel hover. It takes lots of practice. Study my 9 heli flying tips and rules of thumb for more insight. Good luck and thanks for being a fan.
