I witnessed this … I witnessed this crash and the jet lost engine power (flame out) and consequently lost speed. The pilot was fairly far out from the runway and attempted to make it back. He did not keep enough speed on descent and basically pancaked it in. Trust me, any of these turbine models do not suffer from lack of thrust! They also don't make good gliders….
Called a stall, … Called a stall, know how to fly? doubt it. Have to land those things just on the verge of stalling, so they come in slow enough, it is harder to land than a real plane.
I'd be almost … I'd be almost willing to bet someone that it'd be easier to land a real aircraft (if you knew the controls like this RC Pilot) than it is to land a RC so don't call this RC pilot an idiot.
