Remote Control Airplane Combat?
I would like to buy a few inexpensive RC planes that my brothers and I can hopefully learn to fly well enough to crash into each other. I have read a bit about EPP foam planes, and that seems the way to go. I will need the planes and controllers on different frequencies I suppose. Is there a package deal out there somewhere for an airborne demolotion derby kit? I do not mind spending a little money if it means high performance and out-of-the-box flying. It's a redneck thing. How can you put a price tag on that? That said, since we will likely be tearing these things up learning to fly and then crashing into each other, I would like to keep the entire thing under $500. Any ideas?
buy the flight simulator first, many to choose from, flying these things is harder than it looks, your radios will run bout 200 a piece, (cheap ones) engines bout 150, almost ready to fly planes bout 100 depending model, try rcunlimited.net . but then again theres always air hog, got a wall mart near buy? ought to see what my big heli does to one of those air hog havoc helis the kids play with, safety glasses a must! also try American modelers association.com theres all kinds of nuts out there like us
