We found the reason …
We found the reason for the problem later that day. For an event not far from our field the organisers had set up a big antenna which was interfering with 35Mhz.
6 Pilots crashed that day before we figured out it wasn't our glitchy thumbs ;o)

Video quality of …
Video quality of the ATC2K is fair — about same as the FCO2 (take a look at my other videos to compare). Right now the FCO2 still is buggy and has low temperature issues. If you want to use the cam for outdoor action on bike, snowboard, etc. I think the ATC2K is better. If you want to put in on a RC plane you should wait for a bug fixed FCO2. For the ATC2K I paid $120 - FCO2 $80. And yes the ATC2K is a real robust cam but if it falls on stone from >20 feet it will be dead most likely anyway.

You need to silicone insulate the cams to get rid of the lines. It's like carbon core for spark plugs etc. basic interference. You can strip the atc200 easy too for weight loss. Nice vid,
