Are there any online airplane markets that let you sort the available "for sale" planes by SMOH?
Not that I know of,
But price is usually a direct reflection of 3 things.
1. airframe hours
2. engine hours
3. avionics
you usually get what you pay for when it comes to certified airfraft,
Homebuilts are much more tricky.
Keep in mind that SMOH is a relative term, Major overhaul can mean a LOT of different things to different mechanics,
some mechanics think a major is just changing the rings,
Others grind valves, replace mains, etc.
I would personally be more concerned with total time.
The best advice I can give is to have YOUR mechanic do a good pre buy, and take a long look at the logs.
