I`m glad you asked that question. It's the Bae Hawk. is an advanced jet trainer which first flew in 1974 as the Hawker Siddeley Hawk. It is used by the Royal Air Force, and other air forces, as either a trainer or a low-cost combat aircraft. Click the "link" to see a picture of it. and to know a little more.

It is definitely not a Hawk as the second answerer states. Check out the wing position. It IS an Alpha Jet as the first answerer got it correct. This is a French Air Force video, the second jet seen is a Mirage 2000.

Dave and Scott are correct, it is an Alpha. Note the Hawk has a single engine while the Alpha has twins.

The first aircraft is an Alpha jet and the chase plane is a Mirage 2000 both in French Air Force markings.
