There are lots of patterns and how to information. You can also sign up for the news letter.

My advise is to start small, maybe a baby quilt or throw size. Rail Fence is a good one to learn on.

A good site is About.com/. When you do a google search you will find lots of possibilities.I just started a blog for newbies and posted the first lesson'Quilting Tools' .Just take a look at:www.mybestquiltingonline.com. You will find a link to an easystep-by-step method.

this website as quilt blocks galore though not necessarily for a beginner. For my first quilt, I just cut 5 inch squares and sewed them all together to make a scrap lap quilt. I sewed a 5 inch border all around it to finish the top.

My advise would be to search the internet for "quilting for beginners" and you'll find lots of help. Also, go to a craft store and look for quilt books.
